BTS Threadlocker, Red High Strength permanent anaerobic adhesive/sealant. Locks and seals threaded and press fit assemblies to prevent leakage and loosening due to vibration. It resists oils, glycol and water, transmission fluid and mild acids. It is not recommended for plastic. Fills gaps up to .007 inches. Fastens 3/8′ to 1′. Require extra effort for removal. Prevents loosening from vibration. High temperature.
Ideal for; All types of threaded connectors to ensure permanent fixing and sealing, especially high vibration and pressurized application. Excellent for all types of engines and pumps and machinery including crankshaft bearing caps, end plates, head and exhaust studs, engine mounts, fasteners and wheel studs.
